Ron Pulcer

Ron Pulcer is an Info Tech professional based in Rutland, VT.  He grew up in Michigan.  He has worked at Fortune 500, medium and small companies in Michigan and Vermont, within internal IT departments and product development.  Ron has worked in software development and databases, on a variety of projects, in a variety of industries.  He has broad experience across the full spectrum of the “Systems Development Life Cycle“.

Given his experience working with many internal IT customers, he enjoys working with people to integrate technology into their job roles, partner with them to attain their business goals, and improve business processes and quality.

Ron was an original member of the Ops Committee for the Rutland Mint Makerspace.  He has also taught IT courses at the Community College of Vermont (Python Programming and Website Development).  Ron has also organized some Hour of Code and Scratch Programming learning events at the Rutland Free Library, and helped at HOC events at local schools.  He also occasionally teaches guitar classes at the Rutland Recreation Department, and is a weekend ski instructor at Killington ski resort.

When he’s not working, Ron enjoys Vermont’s “four seasons”, especially skiing and hiking.
